Digital Government Exhibition Experience

One Stop Service - Access to all services in one place at once

  • This section provides guidance on about 12,000 services from Korea’s central government agencies, local governments and public institutions. It also introduces Government 24, an integrated civil service platform that allows users to apply for, track, and issue approximately 1,300 services through interagency collaboration.
  • Visitors can enjoy hands-on experience with the One-Stop Service, a flagship civil service that allows users to conveniently access multiple government services in a single location.
  • Self-service kiosks, available at government offices, subway stations, and other accessible locations, will allow visitors to issue official documents with ease.
  • It includes Introduction and demonstration of mobile identification (mobile ID), enabling secure identity verification anywhere, both online and offline.

Proactive Government Services – Providing Information Before Citizens Ask

  • It provides an overview of Subsidy 24, a platform that offers guidance on approximately 10,000 government benefit services provided by central ministries, local governments, public institutions, and education offices. Among these, around 6,200 services provide personalized recommendations, enabling individuals and their families to check and apply for eligible government benefits in one place.
  • Visitors can enjoy interactive experience with Government 24’s Life Cycle Services.
  • This section also contains details on Virtual Assistant Service for the Public, which proactively informs citizens about important updates, such as driver’s license renewals, mandatory vaccinations, health checkups, and overdue fines. Virtual Assistance Service also provides real-time chatbot consultation services for added convenience.

Simplifying Complex Procedures

  • This section provides introduction to services that improve convenience by enabling government agencies to share administrative data collected and stored by the government. This eliminates the need for citizens to submit documents when using public services.
  • Introduction to the Administrative Information Sharing service, which enables government agencies to share information and allows individuals to omit the submission of supporting documents.
  • Introduction to the Electronic Certificate service, which allows official certificates issued by public institutions to be received as electronic documents and submitted online.
  • Introduction and hands-on experience of the Public MyData service, which provides individuals or third parties with access to their own administrative information held by government and public institutions, upon the request of the data subject (citizens).

Service Created by the Government and Public

  • This section provides Introduction and experience of public data access, which allows citizens to easily access and utilize a wide range of government-held data. In accordance with the “Act on Promotion of the Provision and Use of Public Data (no. 19408)”, public data is made available through Open Data and Open API.
  • Visitors can explore Open Digital Service through an introduction and kiosk exhibition. It showcases how public services, once limited to government apps and websites, can now be easily and conveniently accessed on private sector apps and websites.
