    • Ensuring precise and timely transmission of information, with a nationwide communication network for disaster management and integrated emergency hotlines(112, 119)
    • Finding resources in the vicinity of disaster-hit areas using GIS-based systems and allocating them accordingly
  • Establishing a victim-oriented relief system
    • Drawing up detailed guidelines for shelters and relief management
    • Building private sector's resilience to disasters through effective compensation for damage Raising public awareness of safety
    • Rooting out chronic insensitivity toward safety issues in everyday life, through tailored, age-specific education and training
    • Encouraging citizen participation in creating a safer environment, such as online and mobile reporting(Safety e-Report)
  • Reinforcing governmental protection of people’s lives
    • Establishing a safety welfare system tailored to the needs of senior citizens, the disabled, and others particularly vulnerable to safety threats
    • Reassessing and enhancing safety in daily life, such as expanding pedestrian-first roads and reinforcing earthquake resistance of buildings
