The Ministry of the Interior has been very active in cooperating with Latin American countries, signing a memorandum of understanding concerning e-government with 6 countries in the region, including Peru and Chile, and sending out a group of officials to share Korea's best examples of e-government. Despite the active cooperation, the publications regarding e-government were issued only in English. This is why we published this booklet in Spanish that contains 12 of Korea's most exemplary e-government systems, such as customs e-clearance system, immigration system, and government integrated data center.
